I’ve been there … I worked hard to build a “successful career.” I did good work, got recognition, and more opportunity. And, as I got further up the ladder, I realized that what I was chasing after wasn’t really what I wanted.
I tried to ignore my dissatisfaction, writing it off as irrational and ungrateful. In time, I accepted that it was ok to want something more, something more meaningful and more sustainable for me.
